After I searched for alternative treatment modalities, I visited Dictionary.com to find out what exactly modalities meant. I was a little shocked when I visited their site. They have made some terrible changes to its layout. I don’t know if they have optimized their site to work with a different browser or what.

Before I browsed the results for alternative treatment modalities, I still wanted to know what the world modalities meant, so I visited the Merriam-Webster website. I found that modality is a noun that has several meanings. The definition that I think applied to my search was that the word meant physical therapeutic agency.

The first result for my search of alternative treatment modalities on Dogpile took me to an article on the Science Daily website. The article was all about an ultra-sensitive blood test for breast cancer. The test sounds very promising for the early detection of breast cancer.

The next result for alternative treatment modalities was for an article in the Montrose Daily Press. I found a very informative page that only talked about alternative treatment opportunities for children from birth to age eighteen.

Be cool. Don't invite any friends to play James Bond on you during your date or provide an easy out if necessary. (Yes, daters do this.) If you're having a bad time on the date, act like a grown-up for an hour, grin and bare it, thank your date politely and leave. Don't get me wrong here.
You don't have to treat women BADLY for them to like you.
But if you think that treating a woman well means "always getting her approval and permission for things", think again.
You will never succeed by looking for approval. Women actually get ANNOYED at men who seek their approval.

MISTAKE #4: Trying To "Buy" Her Affection With Food And Gifts

Now, on the face of these, they seem pretty benign. We all seek at least some of these traits in the men we choose. So, where's the problem?
Essentially it's in his inability to meet the woman's fundamental needs. She is the one doing all (or most) of the giving. The question then lies in; "what's in it for her?"
The answer can be found by exploring three basic issues:
· level of self-esteem
· capacity for intimacy
· roles that she has been in throughout her life
If a woman feels good about herself, she chooses a mate who communicates both verbally and non-verbally to her that she is valued and respected. She won't allow this other person to undermine her positive self-worth. She believes in her ability to participate in a healthy, reciprocal relationship.
If she doesn't feel good about herself, she chooses someone who reinforces her negative self-beliefs.
If a woman is capable of true intimacy, she is open to the true availability of the other person. She wants him to be a full and active participant in the relationship. She can allow herself to be open, vulnerable and able to take as well as to receive all that true intimacy offers.
If intimacy is difficult, she choose someone who is distant, hard to connect with and not emotionally and/or physically available.
If a woman has had a healthy role in her relationships since childhood, she will choose someone with whom she can continue this healthy interaction.
If a woman has been too long in the role of rescuer, caregiver or the one who sacrifices for the good of others, this will probably be the role she will seek out in her relationships.
Fortunately, most women fall somewhere in between on these issues. So the task is to evaluate yourself in each area and decide on a course of action that will help you to choose a "nice guy", who stirs your senses and meets your needs while being truly available for a real relationship.
Once you know what is most important to you and believe that you are worthy of achieving it, you will have taken a giant step towards finding the right partner for you.

Intimacy and Sex
Timing
DonÂ't lead with your body, no matter how taken you seem to be with a man. If heÂ's really interested in you, and not just in sex, heÂ'll wait until you think the time is right and respect that, whatever that timing is, and whether it is based on your religious beliefs, your personal preferences, or both. If he is aggressive in this area, he is not for you. Not just because he wants sex, but because he isnÂ't showing respect for what you think. HeÂ's inconsiderate and only thinking of himself. You want someone who thinks of you first.
Having a physical relationship before you get to know someone may also cloud your judgment. You might find that the sex may be exciting and great, particularly if it has been a while. But if the match isnÂ't as good as you thought later, if you have already been intimate, you might wish later that you hadnÂ't been. If youÂ've been there already, you know what I mean. Some women find it difficult to encourage intimacy with a man, and to welcome it themselves. Now that is the way a story should always go, with a happy ending; however, girls (and guys) beware of the blind date. Just 'how free' are free ringtones? Well, it really depends on your definition of the word 'free'. For most people it means â€˜no charge' and there are few exceptions to the definition. However, there are so many 'free ringtones' websites out there that just plain are not free, yet no one seems to be doing anything about it. Oh I know that the cell phone companies are doing their best to combat this cell phone download site type of spam / scammers, but the average person who is taken by one of these so-called free ringtone sites just lets it slide, thus encouraging these bogus sites.

How does it work?

Well, you do an internet search for a particular song you'd like to have a ringtone for and lo and behold there's a special ringtone site that has just that song. Sure, you realize that you'll have to pay a few bucks to download and use the ringtone, so you start to follow the directions. You're asked to input your cell number to verify where the ringtone will be sent to. That seems reasonable, right? This is where they get you.

As soon as you input your cell number and receive the texted code word, you input the code word on the ringtone site. You scan through the fine print agreement, or perhaps there's only a link to the legalese, select the 'I agree' box and on you go. But as it turns out, the agreement you e-signed includes a clause for ongoing membership to the ringtone site, for which you will be charged a recurring fee of $9.95-$14.99 (depending on which site caught you).

In my experience most of these sites don't even deliver a working ringtone. A person jumps through all those hoops just to get an error page when the actual download portion is supposed to happen. I wasn't even aware of the recurring charge until I received my next cell phone bill. Your cell phone service provider will try to get you to contact the fallacious site and have the service discontinued, but if the one that you end up at is anything like my experience the procedures for unsubscribing are all bogus too and the recurring charge will keep showing up until you demand (friendly now, those customer service people are people too!) that the recurring charge be removed from your bills.

For the most part cell phone companies are willing to work with people taken by these free ringtones sites. When I talked with Nextel they assured me that this is one of the number one problems and complaints of customers. But you just can't be sure they'll work with you, so the best thing is to avoid downloading ringtones from anywhere other than your provider's site.

Finding MP3 Ringtones

MP3 Ringtones are great because even though they lack that retro je ne sais quoi, well, you can actually tell what song they're supposed to be. Then again, what's so great about removing the fun of guessing which song the muzak-like ringtone symbolizes? I for one sort of enjoy that guessing game.

I've had a cell phone through Nokia for a couple of years now and am pretty happy with the service and the rates as well. I mean it would be one thing to physically link the phone to the PC and get the new ringtone installed that way, but I always opt for the free phone and surely didn't have all that hardware and net savvy working for me.

I'm convinced that just tat question arises at the same point in deciding to use one of these ringtone sites and the bastards know the average human thought pattern there and use this knowledge to lure users like this: You're asked to input your cell phone number so that they can verify to where the ring tone will be sent. See what I mean? "Ahhhh, okay, so that's how it's done", feeling all assured that it must be legit if there's a way to verify that you actually own the phone it's easier to let go of the original query about the logistics.

The problem with these ringtone sites is that once you input the code word they text to you, your account is billed recurrently for membership to the ringtone site. It doesn't matter if the terms you agreed to was a link to a 5,000 word document, somewhere in that document it declares the sorry truth about the recurring fee. Good luck getting it removed from your account too. In summation, don't download ringtones for your Nokia phone from anyone but Nokia.

I was happy with the free ringtones that my cell phone came with, but eventually I became tired of all the included ring tones and decided that it would be nice to download something I really like. I mean I've heard my friends' phones ringing with personalized tones, a different one for each and every friend that calls, but the cost of premium ringtones adds up pretty quickly. When I went to complete the final download portion I got an error page. After trying several more times with no luck I finally gave up. I resolutely decided I'd get my $2 back some other time and worst case scenario: was just out $2.

Then I got my cell phone bill. Not only had I been charged for the ring tone that never worked, but there was a $10 recurring charge â€“set to occur each and every month. It turns out that in the fine print of the ringtone site I'd visited there is a clause stipulating that downloading the ringtone automatically subscribes the user to this ongoing service and charges.

The way they get away with this at all is by having you enter your cell number at the site. The site sends you a text message with a code word. Once you input the code word on the site you're then taken to the download page â€“at which point you've jumped through so many hoops you're less likely to read the tiny print.

Luckily T-Mobile was very understanding and I didn't have to pay the $10 fee and I never had to see that charge again either. Be wary of cell ringtone websites. If you can't find it at the provider's site then you probably don't want it. Even though T-Mobile was understanding, I still had to talk with them several times to verify that I'd done my best to contact the offending third party website. Heed my advice so you don't have to learn the same lesson.

Set up a HQ. Create an environment that it conducive to your job-search project. Set up a basic office at home that includes access to a phone, stationary, postage supplies, computer and printer. If you have small children or pets keep them out of this area and ask your children not to answer the phone while you are job searching. If you are basing yourself out of a job caf頯r other facility, be prepared. Make sure that you have the tools you need to apply for jobs that appeal to you, including an up to date resume, referees and an email address.
Create an up to date resume. Create a captivating covering letter. Provide a detailed description of the achievements in each of your roles and the timeframes you have been in the role. Provide all contact details including phone number (land line and mobile), email and where possible a fax number. If you don?t have a fax at home, find someone close to you i.e. local business and ask them if you can use their number.
Get out. Become involved in local networks and community events. Investigate groups that meet regularly in your area and get involved. This is a great way to meet new people, make new contacts and find out about jobs that are available close to home.
Mind your language. Avoid using negative words such as ?unemployed?, ?on the dole? and ?I can?t find a job? and replace them with positive perspectives such as ?I will find a job suitable for me?.
Stay well presented. It only takes seven-seconds to make a first impression. Make the most of your seven-seconds by smiling when you greet someone. Invest in a good suit, if you don?t have one, borrow one for interviews; polish your shoes and ensure that your hair is clean and tidy. It?s easy to get out of the good-grooming habit when you don?t have to do it every day. Remember how important is it both to your self-esteem as well as to people?s first impression of you.
Stay motivated. Finding a new job is hard work; treat it as you would any work assignment ? your fulltime job is finding a new role that you will enjoy. Just as with any job it can be frustrating and especially disappointing when you receive ?rejection? letters. Prepare yourself for the fact that you will receive these. They are not personal. Focus on keeping your goals in your mind and remind yourself constantly that there is a role out there just for you, it?s only a matter of time until you find it.
